    Hi there,

I am looking for mag pouches for AR Mags for 10-round-magazines. Ideally from a manufacturer that is available internationally, since I live in Germany.

I am specifically looking for this size because here in germany we are only allowed to use 10-round-magazines in longarms for "sporting purposes". We can still buy the larger ones at the moment, but that will change sometime this year with a new legislation.

Are those 20 rd mags blocked to 10 rd? Then the original US military pouches started out carry 4 20-rd mags?

WIlde custom gear makes 10 round AR pouches which can be made to hold up to 6 magazines. I use them in my gun safe. You can e-mail them and ask about international shipping.

He will need to find a European based shipper as even magazine pouches will fall under ITAR regulations as "tactical gear" for any US based company.

I mean those that only fit 10 rounds. The 20 and 30 rounders might be banned later this year. At the moment you can still use them with a blocker inside, but that might change.

I use a Bushnell compact binocular pouch... happened on it at LGS in their left over/bargain bin for $5.

Holds two 10 rd P-mags and has a magnet closure so no noise in the field, belt loop on the back.

Did some more research. So far I have found two models that could work, based on their measurements on the shop pages: The Tasmanian Tiger MCL and the Condor Open Top M14 Pouches. They are also readily available here in germany. The Tasmanian Tigers may be a bit too high.

Does anyone have experience with those? I'll try and put in some links, but I am not sure if the forum software will allow it.
