You can go in and remove any extra apps you didn't install.
Looks like the paint or sticker is catching. Perhaps try removing it from the refill (as opposed to sanding the bore of the pen).

I carry a DQG Hobi (TI w/Neutral white led). It's twist on/off, so no accidental activation.
Many people clip them to a lanyard. Depending on the cap, it may clip on the lanyard and you can just uncap the pen to use and have the cap stay...
