Looks like the 1271 Fighter Knife. The model should be under the USA Tang stamp, by your thumb in the second pic;)
Those 2 pics are the same knife, looks like a CRKT Squid, with a GITD scale. Hence the "night and day" shouldn't it be day and night though? :p

Check out the Boker Magnum line, a lot of them have glass breakers and seatbelt cutters, steel is 440 but I'm not sure how much better a steel...
Unless I am mistaken, I believe both the Cat and Chicago have 440C blade steel.
