Multi-tool Skeletool CX, main use is for pliers. loosened over tightened vga screws, screw slot was snapped off. Kershaw select fire, Main use is the driver bits, built a system with it. Cold Steel super edge, open dozens of packages and process cardboard.

If you post in the Knife section carrying only one knife, you're not normal Others as well sometimes . Its impossible to always agree with everyone, we're all different people with different views, beliefs (talking non-religious) and opinions Sometimes we share and agree, sometimes not. That's life Everyone has a right to their opinions as long as they respect the opinions of others Also peoples' opinions in general are affected and influenced by upbringing, environment they live in, people they interact with, local laws ...etc
You´d make a great Swede, fit right in here with the rest of us And to be more on topic - I always carry two knives, even though one of them is a SAK and I don't consider that a knife, its a screwdriver that just happens to have something you can cut with if you really need it. The other one is a Spyderco Delica. If I´m out in the woods I usually have a three or four assorted fixed blades (usually a mix of Fällkniven, ESEE and Bark River). One or two on my belt and the rest attached to my backpack. There is one knife for gutting and dressing game, one for wood processing, and one for any fine detail work that I want to do.
EmberMike: You do not have to like weapons to be an EDCer. Everybody EDCs to an extent, some more than others. The ones on this forum, and others like it, are more aware of it and are interested in sharing their new toys with others. Sure, there are a few "Gun Nuts" and "Preppers" here, but that is not what the board is about, it is just how it is, like some being Active duty Military and some are Housewives (Kind of a tie as to the difficulty of the job at times). I have carried a knife of some kind since I was 12 (probably younger). Yes, at school as well (in a more enlightened time). I used my tool as just that and never got a second look as I flicked it open to do a task. I hope you stick around the forum. I am sure you have much to contribute, even a dissenting opinion can be enlightening. We can all learn something if we take the time to respect other's opinions.
Two minimum, four if I am at work. Spyderco jester on my keys, spyderco ukpk in my pocket, leatherman TTi on my works belt and a mora electrician in a hard sheath Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Its not like I made a blanket statement labeling all children or all prisoners. That would be like saying that saying that all pencils cause spelling mistakes. What I was saying is that bad company corrupts good morals.
I think it is fair to say that some children come out of the public school system worse than they went in. I also think I'm not alone or less parents would want their kids going to a private school.
Always have at least two, a Victorinox Classic on my keychain, and a ZT 0350 clipped in my pocket. I also carry a Victorinox Hiker and Leatherman Juice in my DEC bag. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
I have a fast-opening knife in my back pocket, & a 2nd knife in my Leatherman Juice. I don't specifically try to have 2, just happens to be a 2nd in my MT.
One for work (Vic Tinker or Rescue Tool or SE Tenacious) one for food (Taramundi slipjoint) one keychain folder (Vic Classic SD)... So that's three at a time
A lot factors into how a person develops into who they are over 13 years. I don't think it's fair to say that about public schools. Maybe if you're talking about kids who leave private school, go to public school, and then somehow change over a shorter number of years, the you'd have something there.
If multitools count, then I typically have 4 blades in 3 discreet tools, one of which is a dedicated knife. LM Micra on keychain, LM wave in back pocket (2 blades on wave), and a Blackjack neck knife (which is great for food tasks, its easy to clean!)
To some point, we're all knife guys, therefore we carry irrationally many knives. That's obvious, isn't it? Personally, I usually carry 3 or more blades Vic Compact or Alox Bantam as primary utility blade B+ Subcom in my wallet Multitool (typically 1 blade) fixed blade (Spyderco Street Beat or Pohl Force Charlie One) another MT and heavy duty folder in the EDC bag That totals up to 6 blades at maximum. Not too shabby
Lol, I have plenty of great reasons to carry multiple knives, but in my heart it's because I like carrying them
