Wanted: modular pouch for HTC One X+

    Hi all,

    here's the game:

I am looking for a MOLLE compatible pouch that accomodates a HTC One X+, cased in an Otterbox Defender. Therefore it must take 5.62" x 3.09" x 0.65" (dimensions taken from Otterbox website), with enough room to spare so I dont need to squeeze the device in or wriggle it out.

The pouch should not be wider than 2 MOLLE "channels" as it will be riding on the shoulder strap of my 5.11 pack, which only has 2 channels available. A closable flap is mandatory (doesnt matter whether it's velcro, zipper or side release buckles, although I have a slight preference towards the latter).

I want to carry the thing on the shoulder strap so I don't need to stop, take the pack off, take the device out etc. if I need to use it.

I was thinking about picking up a magazine pouch but I have no idea as to their dimensions - the descriptions usually say "fits an AR magazine", "for M16 mags" or something to that effect which isn't helpful to me. Obviously I prefer not having to order a bunch of different pouches from different shops just to find out whether they fit or not and having to send them back, keeping track of refunds *yaddah yaddah*.

    Recommendations, anyone?

hazard 4 koala is pretty big.. I'm on mobile so I can't measure it.. But it's two channels wide and padded to all hell

    I saw that one too and liked it - unfortunately it's too small (4.9 x 2.0 x 0.8) :(

    How about this:
Can any of you gun owners try and take measurements of your rifle magazines?
I could then go and figure out the correct pouch size that way. I think it would be more on the order of a 30 rd magazine when it comes to the height.

    (sorry for double-posting)
