Alright, so I have been wanting to do this for a while now, and when a buddy of mine asked me my opinion on something very similar, it got me going again. What I'm looking to do is a small truck bag, or Get Home Bag. Where I live and work is only a max of maybe 5 miles so I don't need your typical long hike, overnight, lots of food and gear type of bag. I've been looking at the active shooter types of bags, and more specifically, the "Platatac Active Shooter System Grab Bag." I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these products and more specifically the Shooters Bag in question. Link below. http://www.platatac.com/platatac-active-shooter-system-grab-bag/w1/i1431447/ Also, I have searched the forum for this bag with no luck. If you find a thread on here, then post the link, as you must be a edcf search ninja! Thanks all!
A lot of my LEO friends use the Rush 24/72 bags for their GHBs. The reason being is that if they had to trek a little while, it'd be more comfortable. They usually have these LA Police Gear ones for the car though: http://www.lapolicegear.com/lapg-operator-patrol-bag.html Or one of these smaller ones: http://www.lapolicegear.com/tabaoutbag.html http://www.lapolicegear.com/jumbo-bailout-bag.html
Mooshisho, thanks, but I already have a backpack that travels with me to work. It carries extra clothes and such, and could easily carry the added, albeit light weight of an active shooters bag. Also, I'm asking specifically for information or feedback from anyone that has experience with the bag in question. Again, thanks and I'll take a quick look at the lapolice bags. Anyone have experience with the platatac? Edited for spelling.
