I really like the blue lanyard with silver bead.

As much as I like the beadbomb I think the other bead matches that light better

Thanks for all the input guys! I agree with you all the blue paracord and silver bead look great with the light I found some old cord in my dresser right after that post and came up with this... What do you think? This is my first snake knot.

Nice...check out insert nuts and drill bit stop collars. Plumbing has some nice copper couplers and whatnot.

Ya I looked at the compression couplers but they did not have a size I wanted. I'll have to search the local Lowe's as well.

My only bead. I do like it, but I don't think I'll be buying another. Rather save it for my next MUST have....

I'm still surprised how expensive simple metal beads are! The market is flooded with skulls so they are dirt-cheap but a nice, plain metal bead comes most of the time close to the price of a pocket tool...

This is what i like. I have never done any paracord items
i think i may now and there's a bucket of loose sockets at the pawn shop.
i'm picturing black para and a tiny chrome socket.

Check out the aluminum crimping stoppers at a hardware store. You could get some metal polish and with a little work you could shine it right up! Mirror finish!

great idea for a lanyard bead, it looks like a plug you screw into plasterboard to aid a screw/bolt with a matching internal thread
It goes to show spending loads of $$ isn't always req'd to decorate a lanyard, just imagination and resourcefullness
