I have noticed that my number goes up then it goes down. I have say 10 post then sometime later it goes down to 8 and then back up to 9 and stays there. If i continue to post more then the number grown again, but i know that i lost some of them. What's going on? Just checking in on it.
It could be that posts are being removed for forum rule violations or as part of the clean up from a rule violation. Or it could be that you have started or posted in a thread that was moved to a different sub-forum (not all sub-forums count towards your post count).
Dr J called it. During November and latter-half of October, you happened to post multiple times (19) in a thread (not initiated by you) that was eventually moderated (removed from public view). The system automatically adjusts your post count downward when a thread is "soft deleted."
You get to over a thousand, and it won't matter anymore. (took me less than 3 months, but then again I am a chatterbox.)
