    I don't travel enough now to take scenic type shots but I have some of my own locality,,,,,,,,, this is a couple of miles from our house,,, the dogs get walked here now and then, ,,, 4 miles along the valley below is where I used to have my foundry,, The point where Jane is standing is like the prow of a ship pointing into the prevailing westerly wind,,, when it's strong I like to open my arms out and see how far I can lean into the wind,,, it I feels like I'm flying

    Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island, NE England. Access to the island is over a long causeway that gets cut off by the tide. I always feel spaced out when I'm there,,, it has a strange atmosphere as though it's at the edge of the world,,,,, on the boundary of something very different outside of my understanding

    Los Angeles. Maybe not the coolest place but I dont take many pictures when I'm out and about.

    I don't think Las Vegas counts as picturesque either but Its really the only place I've been.
    Also, the Luxor looks weird with the lights off

    'Manhattanhenge' up the street from my apartment; this happens a few times a year when the sun set lines up with the grid of Manhattan streets. Last few years it has been on the cloudy side when this happened, but this last one was perfect. For those of you who know NYC, this was shot from the middle of 23rd Street. At great personal risk.....
