    Any suggestions?
    Trying to keep it simple.

Need the Keyport and Car Fob.
QDD could go on necklace along with the battery capsule.
Can't think of a simple / clean way of using any gate clips and the P7 clip.
I'm ok with giving up everything at the top.
The necklace is a vial with my best friend's ashes. Thought about putting the QDD with it, but I wanted to remove the split ring and put the ball chain right through it. The chain is too thick.
Went through all of this to simplify and clean up only to make more of a mess and bulk. Lol.

Open to swivel, split ring and all suggestions. Big or small. I have a brass QD, titanium split rings. Just lost here.

Edit, put up a more organized picture.

Why don't you just mail me the two glow fobs and Atwood. I'll take those of your hands for you, make the decision easier. :-p

I had heard of the Keyport, but had never Googled it to see one. I dont see how it makes things simple. Thats alot of room used for 3 keys. It would be the first thing I got rid of, no offense.

No offense taken. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.

I like the look. It cleans up having a bunch of keys. It actually holds 6 keys total. 5 keys if you need a slot for the engine immobilizer chip for your car. The auto blade for the chip also has 2 slots for barcodes. Worked out for me. I actually have one free slot. Debating on what I want in it. That's a lot of time and money for about $100. Another thing I didn't like was the keys all around scratching up my Viper fob. Just trying to simplify. Seems to be working for me.

One thing I've noticed if I only have access to one hand and it's dark, I know exactly which slot the key I'm looking for is in. I should just switch to a keypad lock. Lol.

I like the keyport, but don't think you will get a very clean look with more then 1 glow fob and a lanyard on it. Have you ridge about splitting it up? I'm currently using a short length of para cord with the ends threaded in opposite directions through a bead and then tied. shamelessly stolen from someone else here.,I think it logs nice and works great for dangling from a pocket since it's more flexible then a split ring

Got a pic or link? I have considered splitting it up. May get a new remote. That way I have extras. Charging this thing is annoying. Lol. Hard to run across a mini-usb charger sometimes. Even thought I have a million at home.

    Best pic I have:[IMG]
I've shortened it and changed to black since then. But you can get the idea from this I think

    chrischoi Loaded Pockets

I'll have to try and get another bead.
Here is where I ended up. Separate for when I don't need my car fob. Together if I have to have my car.

I'll figure out what I can do with the the capsule and necklace tomorrow. Hopefully I can make it to the hardware store before work.

Have you considered hanging some of this stuff from a clip on your belt. Victorinox makes a nice clip that could be used to suspend some of this stuff from your belt and still let it hang in you pocket.

Do you carry a cell phone holster on your belt, by any chance? Forum member Gnarly carries his remote fob on his cell phone holster. I intend to implement a similar solution (as soon as I get a working remote fob :banghead: ).

In my sig line below, there is a link to a keychain organization thread that may help you come up with some ideas.

OK, so I was looking at all your stuff and I saw the Keyport. I have never heard of one until today. Well, I just ordered one. Man, sometimes I hate this site. It always makes me spend money.:frantic: Thanks. I am going to tell my wife it is all your fault. HA

    chrischoi Loaded Pockets

Yes I have a holster. It's just a clip. Don't know where I can attach something.

It's cool, I blame everyone here when my girlfriend or anyone asks.

Chris if you had a nice man bag you can just put everything in the man bag. I suggest the spec ops pack rat, may be the best man purse I found so far.

Never. Would lead to carrying more stuff. Doesn't fit my lifestyle. I just want my keys and phone. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Ok I have to ask. Where did you get the mini D rings and glow fobs from?

It occurred to me that the Pickpocket might possibly work better for your uses than the Tec Acessories clip - it has multiple holes to which you could attach clips. Of course, I understat that it may or may not be your style.

Also, you might want to look up the "Malibu Versa-Link". It's a very compact quick disconnect apparatus that may be easier to operate than the MM clips.

Please don't take this as a criticism, though, I love your style and love watching this thread.

    chrischoi Loaded Pockets

D rings? Those are Maratac Gate Clips. I think that's what you meant. Glow fobs are TEC. One is stainless the other is titanium. Available through the forum store.

Thanks. I'm going to look more into this. It's a forum and I don't take it as criticism. I'll update when I see what they are.

The Pickpocket just seems bigger than I prefer. Just my preference. Reason why I didn't attach an Atwood on here.
The Malibu Versa Link just makes it so much longer. I feel it would be more stuff clinking around.

I prefer tight and clean. Without letting things bang against the car fob. I guess this is another can't have it all type deal.

    Everything looks good now.

I found that either you stretch things out longways, or you keep it tight on one split ring. I've fiddled around with every setup and concluded that the cleanest way to have your keys setup is

To keep your car keys/large fob separate, or with the keyport-and have something glowing...(or get a Skinth for the keyport and fob if it will fit-if not, p7 or larger gate clip on belt loop)

DD with keys on a split ring attached with gate clip, capsule with gate clip (and Atwood if you want) ....suspended with p7
    Vial on necklace

So order on the keychain from left to right side is DD, capsule, Atwood (All with gate clips), keys (I like using a shackle), p7 on top
    • Keys in one side pocket*
    • Keyfob on belt loop same side^ w/glow fob (shirt should cover to prevent banging)
    • Phone? in opposite pocket (or back pocket if it's a moneyclip)
    • Skinth w/keyport on phone side

I keep my dang keyfob and car key separate from my house keys on it's own S biner (for lack of a suspension hook atm) on the belt loop on one side of the pocket and my keyring attached with another S biner on the opposite side of the same pocket...keeps things from touching and easily accessible ;)

I have found on khakis with the slanted pockets it doesn't work so well. On my levis 511's it's perfect....so with khakis I have to keep the keyfob dangling outside-doesn't bother me.
