Well, every year in late November they hold a factory sale where they offer up seconds at pretty screaming deals. I don't know how early you have to get there to be first in line, but I suspect it must be well before dawn. As it was, I showed up around noon on the first day and waited 2 hours in line. Nearly all the knives are marked "XXXX" to indicate a second. Some of the pre-packaged knives aren't. Prices are at least 50% off retail and usually a lot more. I think the best deals are probably on their kitchen knives since you can get the Shun's at crazy discounts. This includes the "damascused" models as well. If you want to give out some of their common knives as stocking stuffers you'll find a lot of those around $5. I personally didn't find anything this year or frankly for the past two or three years, that really made me jump, but it really depends on what you like. There were some fairly decent deals on the ZT blades, but they didn't have any of the 5-series blades that I prefer (well, they didn't by the time I managed to get in at least). Still, I stand in line with the rest of the faithful in the hopes I'll find my unicorn.

I believe its the first weekend of december every year. To be first in line you have to camp the night before. If you check out their facebook you can see pictures of people doing so. I went the last day and they still had some great deals. Picked up a ZT 0550 for less than half retail.
Kershaguy was having a sale, had to email him for price list. He had some good deals, to bad I'm broke.
