    Were you curious on what I thought looked great :)?

    As a holdover from my backpacking days I hate things that can get snagged on things and I also hate things shifting around robbing me of energy and don't like things bulky unless they provide enough utility to justify the bulk.

    Here is what I like from the photos.

    1. It is pretty snag free while moving forward from the looks of it.
    2. If the volume of load in the pack is reduced the bag can be made tight quickly so the things are lest likely to move around when walking or running.
    3. The way it tightens looks like it will reduce a little bit of bulk when not fully loaded.

    Huh. I never thought of it like that. I thought the bungee was just to strap something on with, in the event that you needed too (i.e. hiking poles, rain gear). I didn't realize that they were designed compress the pack.

    Well, I'm afraid that I like it even better now.

    The bungy is pretty thin and very stretchy, so I don't think it would help compress the pack with stuff inside. What it can do is compress the pack if it's mostly empty. I guess what I'm trying to say is, it can decrease the size so long as there isn't much resistance, you're not going to ratchet down the pack with that bungee. Still very useful!

    I just wanted to let you guys know that I was happy with my Red Oxx Gator as a edc bag until we had Tom Bihn join in. Now I have to try the co pilot in black and wasabi. When they joined, it just pushed me over the edge. What a week I’m having.;)

    Just got it.:D
    The Co-pilot is a little smaller than expected, but that is really better for me. I just moved over to it last night, lets see how it works out.
    I will say that most of the youtube reviews are dead on.
    The build is top notch, no stitches out of place. I cannot say the same for Red Oxx.
