I used to use nothing but Chapstick blue or black until I was told about Burts Bees. So I tried a stick and haven't bought Chapstick ever since. Love the stuff. :)

Going by the title I thought OP may snort or smoke his lip balm. Glad that's not the case.

I'm not addicted but during the colder months I tend to use it quite frequently.

I went from Chapstick to Carmex to Blistex to Burt's Bees and haven't found anything I like better. I always had a problem with lids coming off the tubes in my pocket and it was the tin that Burt's Bees uses that first got my attention. As far as tins go, you don't have to apply it with your finger any more than you do with tubes. I just rub it directly on my lower lip then spread it around.

I've seen the chicken poop balm at Tractor Supply but never tried it. When I was in Juneau I went into a gift shop that had corn dog flavored lip balm among other flavors.

I quick lip balm story - My Dad was looking after one of my young nephews once and the little guy kept asking to borrow his lip balm. When my Dad later used the balm himself he noticed it was pretty slobbery, but he didn't think that much of it since it was a little kid. The next time my nephew asked to use his lip balm my Dad watched him a little closer and discovered that he was applying to his dogs lips.

Normally use regular Burt's Bees or Chapstick Moisturizer. Last night I picked up one called ChapFix+ as an impulse purchase while in the line at Wal-Mart. It's "Lipbalm for Men" marketing must have worked because my subconcience told me to buy it.

Got that too. Tastes good. However, I went there looking for it. I read about it here, I think, and wanted the flat stick.

Update. I finally got around to getting a tin of the Burt's Bees lip balm. :) Other than having one heck of a time opening said tin, I like it (I'm not a fan of the stick types because I always lose them, but I do keep them in all my bags as backups).

I've tried many a lip balm over the years and I can see why the Burt's ones are well liked. They have pretty good "staying power." Though I would like to note that the bees wax one I found at Dollar Tree (two-stick pack) works very well and also has the nice peppermint flavor that the Burt's tin does. :) Of all of the lip balms I've tried, the Dollar Tree one is only second to Burt's in staying power and effectiveness.

Carmex has never worked for me. I hate the taste of Blistex. Vaseline doesn't absorb. And Chapstick just needs to be reapplied too often and feels funny. But when I do use Chapstick, it's of the Moisturize line...

I swear by Kiehl's lip balm. I get free tubes every once and a while when they send out promo emails and my birthday (which is coming up...time to choose a flavor)

Big fan of Carmex, here. I used to carry the little tiny jars, but switched over when they came out with the tube-style since it fits in my pocket better. I got one of these (different graphics, though) to clip inside my Kodiak should I ever lose/use-up the one in my pocket.

I impulsively purchased a candy cane-flavored Chapstick the other day. Fun for the holidays!

Edit: I paid $0.99 for the Chap Grip, not the crazy $8 that Amazon in charging.

Been using Blistex Cold & Allergy, Blistex 5 star and Neutrogena Naturals. Cold & Allergy is amazing anytime. During the summer I use the 5 star the most. Now I am really starting to like the Neutrogena.

I have a lip balm from 2007, gross I know, that I occasionally use. It has an ingredient that makes my lips numb; feels good. My go to lip balm is also a Blistex Five Star.
