MrDagon007 This was one of the best knife reviewers on the web, whide aray of models. Regretfully he doesn't do reviews anymore but he promised he'd get back to it one day. I'll be waiting. http://www.youtube.com/user/MrDagon007/
ATF6281914 -- it's actually my YouTube channel BUT I'm putting it here because I want some honest feedback on my videos. Feel free to PM me your criticisms/critiques.
I like this channel : theurbanprepper youtube.com/user/theurbanprepper He cover a lot of day to day edc stuff and is more down to earth then most other channels. Check his bug out bag , urban bag videos. Also like this guy youtube.com/user/Reallybigmonkey1 Less edc stuff but I just like to watch his videos
If you cannot appreciate the time and effort it takes to make a good video such as this one, you obviously have some other reasons behind your words... The production and the footage is excellent, but I do have to say EO's voice bugs the hell out of me. With an equipment budget like that I'm sure they could afford a good voiceover person but apparently vanity won't let that happen... Anyway, EO is excellent because it's a breath of fresh air in the community where people take videos in their poorly lit living rooms, with broken English and call it a 'review'.
Another vote for Nutnfancy. More like entertainment to me and I agree with most of his philosophy. Don't watch TV, but I do take the time for his vids.
The quality of his stuff is great, it's his style that annoys me. Showing a blade rotating round-and-round like it's on a rotisserie is silly. I find the still shots, where the focus goes in and out, irritating as well.
LateBoyScout is really good, too. I can watch his Leatherman tool reviews over and over again. ColinOutdoors is also good. Based in Scotland, I believe, and has good multitool, camping, bushcraft stuff.
1. Hickok45 for gun reviews 2. Equipped 2 endure for fixed blade knife reviews 3. Sootch00- for other gear reviews
Didn't take long to see someone bashing nutn on this thread. He gets so much for doing his videos, for little reason. He doesn't claim to be the do-all end-all expert on anything, and he has a lot of first hand experience in the reviews he does. He's just an ordinary guy, a successful one at that, that review products much like we do here on threads. I hope you have had another look at his videos and looked at them open-mindedly. Personally, I sure do not agree with everything he says but he has a lot of good things to say, after all, he is entitled to his own opinion. I have tried things that he says, and it has worked for me, not to say it works for everyone. I find it crazy that he is a stickler for weight when he carries 80+ pounds of gear on a backpacking trip. To each his own, but i don't discredit him for what he does, he is happy with what he does and I am happy for him, i'll stick to my sub 20lb load for backpacking, though.
But he was critical of a group that does things you can tell he has never done before that that is my complaint. If those people were to do what he says they should do there is no way on earth they could pull it off. They would be disadvantaged to a massive degree. There are some reviews that are sectored or meaning that the review is using something for a specific application. There are others that a very general but then things can be problematic. On some reviews you can tell the person only plays and never has done any forum of practical job with the item.
Personally I find Nutnfancy to be incredibly annoying. Now Hickok45... I can watch that guy all day long.
nutnfancy is a joke. He clearly doesn't know what he's doing sometimes (like when he is batoning wood with a folding knife and then wonders why it broke) and he's gotten too political. He'd be tolerable if he stuck to gear reviews and products/uses that he knows about.
