. That Rotring 600 Ballpoint (edit: hm, it translates 'd.amn' to a swearing emoticon? In any case, I mean it in a *good* way).
I'm waiting for mine that's making its way to me from Germany right now. I haven't seen many people even say they use/own it online or post pictures of it.

Got mine for around 20 Euros. It's great!

I try to hunt one down myself, but the prizes at auctions are crazy.
Already contacted a seller who claims to have the silver version in stock for a very reasonable price (I prefer the black version though).

The following series "Rapid Pro" looks quite nice too.

It was brand-new in box. I just bought another, used ballpoint in silver for 15 Euros.

You can get the pencils in silver or black for around 20 Euros (new) from a german shop but I don't know if it's a new run or old stock. Seems more like a new run 'cause rotring sells them as well on their website. However, I'm not sure if there's a difference between them.

They also offer the rotring 800 pencil but I read somewhere that this is a remake of the older 600 gold edition and the quality of the 800 isn't as good as the 600. But that's not from my own experience.

I know the pencils are widely available, but I'm looking for the ballpoint version, I rarely use pencils at all.

I just realised that the very same seller also claims to have a black 600 trio pen in stock, so I can purchase this version instead of the silver ballpoint.

I was wrong... thought it was a fancy Jotter - turns out it's a much rarer version of a Parker 45 called a Harlequin!

They made them briefly up to 1980, so I'm happy to have kept hold of this one

I've loved Parker Jotters and have been using them for years (though I tend to loose them all the time ) and I love the feel of the fisher inserts so I use a fisher insert in a Jotter, and carry a fisher bullet in my bag as a back up.


I'm currently lusting after a Countycomm Embassy pen.

I carry the zebra pen everyday,I throw in the bullet pen and Sharpie on occasion, and even though the other thing doesn't write it does shoot copper BBs pretty good.

COOL! How does the shooter work?

It consistes of a cheap mechanical pencil, duct tape and a heavy duty rubber band. It uses the part you click as a plunger and the tube as a barrel, with a rubber band as the propellant. To fire it just drop a copper bob in, pull back on the eraser area, let go and fire. I got it from a book about making shooters, catapults, etc. out of office supplies.

I ordered a Retro 51 Tornado and a Tornado elite about 2 weeks ago. Dont really need either one but found a pretty good deal on the regular Tornado.
Where is a good place to order pens and refills? Not to thrilled with the place I ordered from. Only reason I did was because of the deal they had.
