    I would love a vic. But for right now, my oldie LM supertool rides in the go bag, and the diesel was the new tool. I got the gerber because nostalgia from back in the Air Force days. We were issued "multipliers" with the orginal cheesy cordura holsters and all. This new one is eons better so far.

    Sounds pretty well rounded to me. One day when you have the cash to drop on one more MT and you buy the Vic...I think you'll find it gets carried more than the others:D Just a hunch:)

    mister sakplumber i have a question about your vic is there any play in the plier head?
    because in my regular spirit there is a lot of play in the plier head.

    and i just rieceved my second hand spirit x :D the dude only used the saw and the knife once.
    it still hass oil from the factory on all the tools:p

    Congrats on the purchase. And no, I don't have any play in the pliers on either of my 2 pair:) Perhaps its an issue you should send it to Vic for. I'm sure they'd hook you up. They seem pretty cool about that sort of thing. Especially if you tell them that you bought a second pair to hold you over until while they have your first pair;)

    It is amazing. Several times I have used their cs, and everytime they have been more than helpful. They have sent me new scales, tweezers, toothpick, mini screwdriver, pen etc, all at no cost to me. I have never broken one of there tools before (broke a scale by dropping it, but its only plastic). I have worn out the metal file, and the tools are stiff on my swiss champ, so its going in soon. I can safety say they will make it work like new :p
