Any company that 'does the right thing' by Jon and this forum is a company worth their weight in gold in my books. At the moment I'm not in the market for a new bag but I've already recommended them to several of my friends who are! When the time comes to get a new bag I'll definitely be look at them first!
Looks like a great product! I checked out their website and the variety and styles are amazing. I'm not looking for a bag personally at the moment and would definitely consider if I was, but I would certainly recommend to others.
Guys, I work with a number of manufacturers and Tom Bihn has set the standard on how they treat people - whether it's a customer or a partner. I've only been working with them for a short time but it's obvious that they have placed a priority on interacting with their customers on forums like these to gain valuable insight and feedback on their products and even on future products. I wish more companies that we purchase from did this. On top of all this, they make a quality product with the best available materials. Many of the same materials used by other high end manufacturers like TAD, Kifaru, Mystery Ranch, GoRuck, etc. They target a different market than some of those other companies but their quality is on par or in some cases better. Also, they are an American company that does in-house manufacturing. For those of us in the States, that's still a rarity and something that we should go out of our way to support.
As soon as I can justify a new backpack, my money will be going straight to Tom for a tan Synapse. Looks like a really well thought out bag.
I'm stuck between wanting a Synapse and a Brain Bag. I like the style and size of the synapse, but I prefer tr layout of the Brain Bag.
Never heard of them before but if you say they're good, JSB, they must be.Something else for my list for the future. BTW Jon Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
My buddy raves about his Smart Alec. Well designed and thought out. If I was in the market, they would be at the be on a very short list of suppliers. Looking at some of their accessories to add to my current set up. and....since I've been spending a lot of time on the website. Looking at the Aeronaut and some accessories for the new year.
You'd think more companies would pair with forums. It's pretty direct marketing and a good way to know your clientele.
