Lightweight Kit in a Maxpedition 10x4 bottle holder...Opinions wanted.

I've been inspired by panzer's lightweight belt kit.

I spend a lot of time at the park this time of year running the kids to football and cheer practice and the only thing that I always have with me is my water bottle and so I was thinking of building a super lightweight kit based on a Maxpedition 10x4.

Normally I grab my water bottle and then a few things out of my edc bag to slip in my pockets. Small pack of bandaids, tic-tacs, chapstick and whatever else I feel I will need. Seems like the pocket could handle this pretty easy.

Thoughts? Anyone have one and use it?

Seems like all you need is the bottle pocket and a shoulder strap and you are good to go!

As soon as some funds move from pending in my paypal account it is on.

I will be getting a strap but I think I will also play with some paracord to make a handle for it.

you might find mtwarden's profile and search his posts...he did a wonderful write up with pics a few months back...(maybe 4?) with the foliage green waterbottle holder, some cocoon's and another small pouch - it was insane all he could get in there and the pics were awesome!

I noticed the whole set up was for sale at some time later...but I think it was just max-p-lego tradeouts that we all do so much of...the set up itself I recall he said worked great for him. I know there were pics of him hiking and skiing with it on too...

like most of the max-p stuff....the modularity of it / the beauty of molle / lends itself to almost infinite "lego" building to suit your taste! :)
oh yeah...if you do it...we want pics! lol!
