    Countycomm responder pouch

I've been thinking about getting one of these bags for some of my tactical medic kit.
Does anyone else use one and if so what do you pack in it? Photos if possible please

Had one a little while back, It's a great piece of gear and used to pack it full of admin stuff.

The only thing I couldn't get past was the bulk from all the extra padding and the long shape. I also had the older model... "pre- Milspec Monkey Loop Panels". If I had these, I might have kept the pouch.

I think if you do pack it with first aid gear a smaller pouch inside would work well storing small bandaids and such.

ACHE has one nicely set-up HERE

What kind of TEMS gear are you looking to put in it? Are you trying to use it as a modular type system for specific gear or as a "pocket pouch?"

I have a huge dedicated kit with everything that is shared by all the medics on my unit but I carry a small 'grab bag' kit. It contains:

*Several different size NP and OP airways
*2 small resus masks and 1 large mask
    *2 trauma bandages
    * ACS and gauze quickclot
    *CAT tourniquet
    *trauma shears
    *asherman chest seal
    *medical tape
    *penlight
    *small petzal headlamp
    *petzal rescue knife
*several pairs of rubber medical gloves
    *BM kit
    *medical reminder notes
    *2 triangular bandages

That I think is it. I've actually been given one of these pouches since I posted originally. It's ok but find the padding bulks it out. I have packed it with everything but it just seems so bulky. The airway management bits are in a countycomm organiser inside the responder pouch.

I guess I just give it a go for a bit and see how I get on.

If you are handy with a needle and thread, you can make a small slit in the pouch and pull the padding out. From what I remember, the closed cell foam isn't attached or sewn to the nylon, just sitting between two layers of nylon

I'd be interested as to what you used before.

I was using a thigh pouch but wanted a pouch that was able to hold my BM kit and a few other bits too.
