Hey all,
Been reading this forum for a while, like so many people here I'm pleased and surprised to discover so many people just like me in so many ways :)
I've always liked gadgets and toys, especially small compact things I could have with me and get a lot of practical use out of.
By way of a personal info, I am or was an engineer, I'm self employed at the moment working from home doing research. Also I have the unfortunate joy of having a type of arthritis, so I have stuffed hips and my other joints give me some issues (I'm only 28) so a lot of my life is finding ways to do things that work for me and don't hurt anything. I'm always after tools, or ways of doing things that make my life easier and make my arthritis less of a problem.
Without further ado some pics:
This is all of my toys, but I don't usually carry it all unless I have a need to.
What I actually carry every day is:
Keyring (SAK classic, Itp A3 EOS, Spy capsule with just in case meds, coffee club tag, keys)
Handkerchief (what everyone here seams to call a bandanna)
Wallet - just got this, very small only just bigger than a credit card
Nokia Cell Phone with paracord lanyard
This is the other stuff I carry if I have a need to.
Mint tin with migraine meds - Migraine meds are a wafer that comes in an annoyingly big square packet, this is the smallest time I've found that fits one, and is much smaller than the box they come in. I carry this whenever I'm not going to be near my car or desk which both have migraine meds anyway.
Zebra retractable pen
Moleskin notebook
Zippo lighter - don't smoke, just like lighters. Used to be useful when going clubbing too but not so many people smoke now it seams.
Syperco Delica 4 - Having a knife on you is mostly illegal here (New Zealand) unless you have a good reason, so I only carry this when I know I have a use for it. I've had jobs where I used a knife every day and it was great to have a good reason to have one on me.
Small container for my regular meds for if I'm going to be away from home for dinner or breakfast when I take them.
Paracord bracelet - Just discovered paracord and having a lot of fun with it.
Let me know if you have any thoughts. Looking forward to participating here.
