I've had the Stainless Steel ReVO in my hot little hand for about fifteen minutes.
Threads are butter-smooth and pre-lubricated with whatever it is that 4Sevens put on the threads of my Quarks. Lettering and knurling are flawless. Operable in one hand, but the texture on the head makes me wonder how hard it would be to operate with wet fingers. Tailstands on the flat machined into the keyring attachment point, but will be easy to knock over. It will roll easily, right off my desk. The only part that comes off or moves is the head.
Beam is pretty, with a medium hotspot and gradual spill; the hotspot is perhaps 20% wider than on my Quark 123. Output appears to match 4Sevens' claims, also when compared to my Quark 123. Personally I like the output spacing on the ReVO very well.
Disco modes are easily obtained if you want them but unobtrusive. The light stays on in low between flashes for SOS mode. Beacon mode stays on in low between flashes as well. That's not what I would have chosen, but never having had a real use for either mode I don't think I care very much one way or the other.
It's only a little longer than a Maratac AAA, almost exactly an eighth of an inch. It's much heavier than the Maratac, but I didn't get an aluminum ReVO (yet) to compare.
If you're looking for a keychain light, my first fifteen minutes with the stainless ReVO says you should go and get one right now.
