you could check kimber website. Also the unit has been tested in recent in recent self defense mags. I bought one and like the design. I carry it in an old cell phone pouch with a velcro strap that comes over the top. The kimber rides in there like a handgun holster.
My wife carries the original version, the guardian angel. Cabela's had them on sale recently at a very low price. Never seen one used in person, but there are a ton of YouTube videos out there.
I just bought three of these, one for the wife, one for a buddy who CCW and one for me when I CCW. This device is very close in size to the Ruger LCP. I wanted a non-lethal option to resolve conflict for when I carry. Just one more layer before you have to draw a lethal weapon. It was not something that I wanted to spend money on but I seldom carry the regular can-style OC spray during the summer because it can explode if left in a car or other hot place. So, I decided that at $40 a unit, these were a good deal. They have a four-year shelf life (it says only 2-year shelf life on their website & other places online though) but the products just came marked as expiring in 12/2014. I like that these OC units have 'sights', allowing you to more accurately point the spray than you could with the original version. This was precisely the reason that I didn't buy these things the first go-round... there was no way to tell where your shots were going to go... Anyhow, just my $.02. Best, Ben
