Schrade makes a pen that feels solid, is all metal and isn't too pointy. You can get it for less than $25.
Don't forget about the SureFire and Benchmade pens. Also, the Hinderer thing.
EDIt: This Pen is on the inexpensive end. Courtesy of mpi.
I got it all on Ebaybanned.
I have a Schrade pen now. Had a Benchmade before, lost it, wasn't going to pay up for another one.
I am currently holding out for the new C.U.M.A RAM Tactical pen by Waysun Johnny Tsai.
It is soon to be released and I can't find allot of info on it that is not on some other blog so I am not going to post a link to it. I would suggest to google it.
Full Kubaton capability, neck sheath end cap. It looks like a step in the right direction for CERTAIN!
I say it's a dog eat dog world, and I've got bigger teeth than you do.
this months' USCCA mag had a write up on the UZI pen....looks like it would work and under $20 bucks.... good luck man!

I got the Smith & Wesson tactical pen and it's awesome! I've been carrying it ever since I've gotten it. I carried it on a cruise also and security looked at it but saw it as a pen. It's very smooth to write also.
how about the "cold steel" pocket sharkdont know if that is any use to you ?
