I guess I have been EDCing most of my life without knowing I was doing so. 1st My Dad and Grandad instilled in me that before facing the world a young man needed a few things to make the trip a bit smoother,a handkerchief, comb, house key, pocket knife, some way to light cigarette or fire and walet with personal info, a couple Band-aids along with folding money. The boy scouts just reinforced what I had learned earlier. Some time in the Army taught me the life saving importance of being prepaired.
My short time here taught me there are always new tools and methods to learn. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and I hope to share what I know.

Welcome and my dad and grandfather taught me the same thing. I don't need a comb anymore though. Band-aids were usually just what ever type of tape was handy, lol.

Well put. Somes up my life experience also.
hah.. my dad was a electrition and my bandaids when away from home were black tape and some piece of cloth or napkin.
