    Tactical Bicycle Bag .. ?

    Here's a bag I got on a BST thread here at EDCF ..
    I don't know the brand it is but with a few scavenged quick release buckles and MOLLE connector straps it makes a great toptube bag !
    Right now it has a full change of clothes in it and does not interfere with peddling ,) Still working on the stabilizing buckle for the seat tube ..

    Pretty cool looking! It's a shame that the MOLLE can't really be used when it's hanging there since it would inhibit leg movement, but it's great that it otherwise doesn't interfere. Are those drain holes on the bottom, or buttons?

    Nice bag.

    That's pretty cool G. For the seat tube stabilising strap, how about using a couple of QASM buckles on the PALS either side? Then all you need is a bit of 1" webbing and two male buckles and you're away. QASM;

    Right, I thought of not being able to use the MOLLE (thanks for the spelling correction,) but it's such a great looking and super sturdy bag I suppose it's worth the sacrifice ..
    The 'buttons' are actually the male end of 3/8 snaps that must have been for the original MOLLE setup ?
    It does have drain holes in the bottom but that's the last thing I have to worry about here in Las Vegas, I'm more concerned with UV damage :|
    Thanks for look'n ,)

    That works. One thing I was wondering, with a bit of weight in the bag, does it cause any noticeable friction in your cables? I don't suppose it will, the thought just crossed my mind.

    I'd think there would be nothing to worry about being plastic against plastic and having just clothes inside .. Good point though ..
    I could 'pad' over the cables somehow ..

    Groovy idea.

    My cables run on the top of the frame so it wouldn't be in the way, but I have tried putting a bag there in the past and didn't like my thighs knocking on it!

    My cables run on top of the frame but are exposed so it wouldn't work for me (no outers). It might work if I run the webbing under the cables but I don't think there's room. I keep meaning to rig up a Claymore pouch as a little pannier though, and this thread has inspired me to get on with it. I've got a Multicam Aites Claymore around here somewhere... Tres chic!
