How do you like not having the thumb stud? I was thinking about it for a while since I just use the lock and flick it open, but I thought about keeping it for when I am around *normal people. Cause you know flicking a knife open never makes them comfortable.

I took it off because it kept catching on my pocket whenever I pulled it out. It still opens fine w/o using the AXIS mechanism, just gotta use two hands like when opening a traditional Buck or Opnel.

Holster?

It's a Raven Concealment Systems Ghost. Fits the 17,19,and 26 as well as the corresponding .357Sig and .40SW version. Lightweight, low profile. I like it because I prefer OWB, and it is small enough to go unnoticed with beach wear (as long as you have a shirt on). Holds securely as well. They have anywhere from a 30-70 day wait, like a lot of good holster makers. You can option for Coyote/FDE which is about $10 extra, or the basic black. 1.5" loops are standard, I went with 1.75" (another $10) to fit Wilderness and 5.11 pistol belts.
