1st aid kit out of Maxped glove holder

I looked at this pouch awhile back and thought that it might make nice small first aid kit as it was flat and had multiple pockets, turns out it does :)

not a high trauma kit, but a useful kit for hiking/hunting/fishing

    contents:

    6 3x3" pads
    2 4x5" tegaderm pads
    3 steri-strip packs
    2 triple antibiotic cream
    3 Celox packs
    small meds
    tweezers
    nitrile gloves

    packed

closed (found a foliage velcro red cross patch on ebay :) )

residing in the front zippered pouch of my Lunada

Great kit, like those smaller packs of Celox. Where were you able to purchase the Steri Strips and Tegaderm in smaller quantities?

yeah, but not at the discount afforded larger quantities- have had good luck hounding e-bay. I'm guessing some folks are buying in bulk and selling in smaller quantities (= profit :))

I did buy the steri-strips in a larger quantity, if you have trouble finding some shoot me a pm

My next project is putting together a small FAK for my bag. This really helps give me some ideas. Thanks for the pictures. Great setup.

Is it waterproof? Looks like a cool use of the pouch if you've got it. I use a ziploc now.

it's treated much like all of maxped's cordura- so water resistant, not waterproof

Very nice kit. FWIW, I have seen where it says that you shouldn't put different types of pills in the same package. Something about the off-gassing of the different compounds. But I can't remember the source, so I may be off. I know I make sure I package them separately. Plus that also makes it easier to identify them.
