Zebra M-701 Pencil ?

Has anyone found these in stores yet? If so which one, I have been looking but have found nothing yet.

You can just make one. I took the guts out of an M-402 and installed them in a 701 pen. You get a 701 mechanical pencil with a chrome bezel instead of black.

I was going to do that until they anounced the release of the m-701. Since I would have to buy another F-701 and a m-402 to do the mod I figured I would wait and just buy the M-701. Just havent found them in stores yet.

I was looking in my local area stores and they are not on the shelves as of yet. Several stores are anticipating
sometime the latter part of this month or possibly early May delivery.

I did the modification to convert a 701 ballpen to a pencil and it was a quick and easy mod.

I just stopped at Staples today and they had not even heard of the M-701 yet. I'll keep looking as I want one to match my pens.

Morrowsmowers, if you live in the U.S. (i'm not sure if Staples is only in the u.s.), walmart has had them for quite some time now if you live near one

Yep, I was in WalMart today, also, and they didn't have them either. I'm planning on trying another WalMart tomorrow and see what happens there.

I've known about this simple mod for a very long time but I have never been able to find the M-402. I always find the pen variation but never the mechanical pencil....

I find them online but only in bulk, so I'll be buying the M-701.

I tried to order one from my local office supply store and they told me it would be about 4 to 6 weeks before they could get one. So, I ordered a z905 and another m-402.

Well, I've been to two Wal-Mart's and Staples and no F-701's -- found a few places on-line but I'm trying to not pay shipping -- one place quoted $66 for shipping for 2 of them!!!
