How to shorten a link to just a word or phrase.

This is a new add-on that has been installed for the software. I think it's great and so want to make certain that more people know about it. The following is the new text that is included in the FAQs (Lot's of other good info in there too BTW.) If you have any questions please post here. After this has been up for a while I will retire the thread and the information will still be available in the FAQs.

How do you shorten a link to just a word or phrase?
    Just Added
If you hit "preview" instead of "post" you'll see the screen where you can add smileys and make bold text etc. Look under the "B"old button and you have another row of buttons, 3rd from the left is "insert hyperlink". (You'll see that if you just hover your cursor over the button w/o moving.) Just hit the "insert hyperlink" button. A mini screen pops up that asks for the URL then you hit OK and a 2nd mini screen comes up and asks for the text you want connected to the link. Hit OK again and it inserts the whole mess.

Why isn't this a sticky? I think it should be. Does anyone else?

    Hi TKC,

Actually this was just an announcement of sorts that I put up to tell people about the new feature. It's real home is in the FAQs and those are stickied. I'll probably take this down in the not too distant future so as not to clutter things up.

    Thanks for the bump BTW.
