    The Pen Refill Compatability Thread

Okay, I'm calling on all pen people to share their knowledge of pen ink cartridge compatibility. I love looking at different pen designs, but the biggest barrier to me in buying a new pen is not knowing if that pen will accept alternate refills should I not be able to get a stock refill, for whatever horrible reason.

Please post your knowledge below of what pens are compatible with what refills, and I'll try to update it in the second post in this thread. If I get enough contributions, I'll mock up a spreadsheet and post it.I know there are a bagazillion pens and refill types out there, so maybe just some of the common ones would work best.

Fisher space pen fefill also fits the parker pens.* The Fisher Refill comes with a cap to go on the end to accomidate the clickie pen.* I beleive that Shaffer also makes refills for a lot of popular pens.

Parker refills seem to fit a lot of stuff too!

The Rick Hinderer Kubotan/Pen can accept either the generic Fisher pressurized refills (NOT the regular Fisher pressurized refills) or the Staedtler NON-pressurized "Multi-action Pen Refills", SKU: 031901928315

Re: The Pen Refill Compatability Thread

Might want to make it really clear that the Hinderer Kubotan pen does NOT take standard Fisher pressurized refills...it takes the "universal" ones...hold on...I'll get the name. I just want folks to know the bullet pen refills will not fit at all.

The bullet pen refill (which will NOT fit the Hinderer Kubotan Pen) is the "PR Series"
The ones that will fit, Fisher calls "universal"...

Sorry for being picky, but I had a horrible time finding this information out before I bought my pen...:)

The G2 refills fit my Rotring rollerball pen. (and IMHO work better)
