Those of you that get the blue ones might at first swear I sent you purplish. The blue is a bit off, it has a kind of purple tint to it. When you put it next to the purple one it really is not purple. It could be the lighting in this room messing with my eyes. I just thought I better say something. When the sun is out I will look at them outside and see if it looks a different color.
The Yellow ones hold 4 SD cards. All the rest hold Micro SD cards and an adapter.
These are really neat! I currently have the pelican cases for CF cards and MS media. The pelicans are great, but they are bulky and expensive. This seems like a very ingenious and inexpensive way to store these cards. I'm going to be giving these some thoughts and hope to come back soon to order a few (and maybe a few other things too!).
I'm interested in buying four of the yellow 4-slot holders. Any chance of getting a quantity discount?
Also, can you post a back-side view and the dimensions?
Note: Proporta orders are sent is from the UK via British Royal Mail and the US Postal Service, also sold by Proporta through the Amazon Marketplace, which might add some nominal shipping/delivery assurances
If you need something to carry more than 3, you can always opt for a SanDisk Memory Card Carrying Pouch. Soft sided, so you lose a little protection, but carry a little bit more depending on wedging skills. SanDisk sells them seperately and includes them with their mid to higher range card for digital cameras. Attachment to is available via included split-ring.
This is one of those cool little items that I did not know existed, but is very helpful. I ordered one of the yellow ones and keep my SD cards in it, and store the works in the tank bib on my motorcycle. I use the SD cards for a little traveling music, and this organizes them nicely.
