Jon have you thought about getting some custom RITR products? They're a bit pricey, but they're made in the USA and they are great quality. Click on the "custom" link on the top menu bar http://www.riteintherain.com/default.aspx
I was particular interested in these (http://www.riteintherain.com/Categories.aspx?Category=8b6c1dd1-6ad5-4946-9711-29dc87ff2720). Minimum order is 100. I just ordered a case of 12 of these and would be happy to forward you one for inspection.

I have thought about it many times. I was even going to try and get EDCF branded ones.
The reasons I can't get them right now is I am going to have all of my cash tied up with a Spyderco order to fill a request and the some Barkies. The other concern is how long they would tie up capital when I get them. If it takes me too long to bread even on them it can wipe margin created by the Barkies. If I can get into a position where I can afford to have capital tied for for 6 months or more I can carry a much wider variety of things.
I do want to start carrying those when I am able to.

I have been looking at getting a few RITR pads
i use a notepad a lot at work, and during winter i will probably start having trouble with rain.
getting an EDCF one, to go with my EDCF pen would be great

I would like to buy about 5 write in rain small notebooks. I have a Govt job, and frequently take notes on incidents. EDC branded ones would be cool if available.
