I'm undecided right now. I've gone to the last 5 or 6 and they're always fun and interesting, but I'm just not sure if I can justify the cost again.

Understandable since the costs of everything (airfare/fares) are going up and down a lot.

I live about a 4 hours drive from LV so I'm planning to attend at this point. Still about 4 months to go before it happens.

It says that the SHOT show is not open to the public. How does one attend?

LEO's can go. If you have any friend in the outdoor field they can get a badge for you. Gun shop owners normally help out good customers.

Crap Vegas is to far to go. Can't wait till it is back in Orlando............................

Depends on the years, in 07/08 the show dates fall on a weekend but this year it was all weekdays. The upcoming 2010 show will be a Tuesday to Friday (Jan 19-22)

Ive got my pass, Hotel reservation...but unless a "Christmas Miracle" Happens, It looks as though the coin to get their is not currently in my possession. Too far to drive (from Ohio)...Unless anyone is looking for a passenger, I am stayin home pouting! :lolhammer:

But Seriously...anyone driving out there that would want a paying passenger? Im near Columbus, Ohio. If you go through I70 or I71 I am close. I could also meet you in a one state area.

Not for awhile, I think. It was at Orlando a few times recently but they signed a deal with the Sands Expo in Vegas for the next few years.

Civilian lab really has stepped up to the tactical plate! Some great designs. Like the looks of the mini ccw bag, holster, polo shirts and the operator hats. Nice stuff!

Well guys came back from the show, there was certainly lots of things to see that were EDC related and I will try to provide a short write up of what I saw (which wasn't very much considering the show was HUGE!)
