I did another batch of the I.D. Tag Eclipse's, they look and feel really nice very discreet...until you need it.

The stone-washing takes a bit longer but the look is worth it.

A little info on the SOLAS tape

"Reflexite SOLAS Coast Guard Approved Marine Tape is the toughest and brightest tape on the market. It has a very strong adhesive that will stick to almost anything. Our flexible SOLAS tape is specifically designed to increase the visibility of life jackets, ring buoys, survival suits, bouys, markers, rain suits, back packs, jackets and a variety of other objects in marine and land environments. It is also very popular for motorcycles and bikes due to its extreme reflectivity. Reflexite FD1403 is an 8 mil thick, flexible, UV stabilized, weather-resistant polymeric film with prismatic retroreflective elements. This material is designed to withstand the harsh marine environment and extreme cold. FD1403 is IMO Type I and II certified and meets USCG requirements for SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea)."

I.D. Tags are government spec stainless steel with a very high degree of corrosion resistance. The mirror side has a very nice bright and blinding polish....I check each one in the sun to ensure quality and performance. They have been field tested in three coners of the Globe with great success

Rivet is coated brass and will not rust ( I have tested one to failure ) they have all the holding power needed for this type of device.

They cost the same or less than a T-shirt and could save a life.

Shipped + all fee's with 3' of OD green type III cord for $22.00 or 5 for $90.00 great gifts for friends, hunters, boaters, divers, Military, LEO, Search and Rescue, boy scouts etc etc I will do volume discounts. Please Pm or email me at sarglobaltool@gmail.com

The cool shirts and hat came from Rob the smoke-jumper thanks bro, look for "Tri Eclipse's" available for sale at the end of this week.

Just to clarify. When you slide open the two pieces, the inside is a mirror? A few of them doesn't look like it.

Looks like it's the same item but a different shape.

I like the 'copper' colored version more than the washed version, but I like antiques and stuff.
I'm extremely interested in these, they look great and this design/implication is great.

You are right on the first part....wrong on the second

I can see my face in everyone of these that are for sale, they are buffed by me with green chrome rouge. Every batch goes out into the sun and is reflective tested to ensure brightness. Its pretty hard to capture the reflective power or mirror quality of each one in a picture. The mirrors can and does work out to 15+ miles as tested in the South African desert by one of my field testers.

The old name for these was the "Sunburst" but it has been changed to the "Eclipse"

From the owner/operator of a successful global security contracting firm, currently on assignment in South Africa

"I have had the pleasure of fielding a SunBurst for a week now and been very pleased with this device that Spencer created! It is about as powerful as my BCB Mayday, but in a much smaller package. As smkjrose has already stated, this little puppy excels at signaling helos. We've been able to make contact at 15 miles quite easily with our pilots with the sun both low in the horizon and high in the sky. The solas tape is also a very handy addition. I've had it attached to my pack, bivy, stands, and other misc items. Any hint of illumination lights this guy up! It is very easy to use and the pivoting g10 cover offers decent protection to the mirror's face, unlike my Mayday which is all scratched to hell! Once again I am very pleased with this life saving tool! Spencer, you nailed it! The 'Dark Continent' just got a little 'burst' of light! "

I have and always will fully guaranteed my work for both quality and performance if you don't like it when you get it just return for a full refund no questions asked.

These are not gimmicks or bottle openers they are a tool for signaling and survival.
