I got some knives put up on etowahedgeandtool.com today but did not get the Ebot sheaths ready in time. I'll try to get some on there this week. Here is one of the new Cruiser models. D2 with sand blast finish and black linen micarta scales with red liners. The blade is 4.25" long and .25" thick. It is flat ground from the edge to the spine and cuts very well. These start at $165.00 + $5.00shipping.
UP DATE on 2-10-10: I am trying to keep these in stock to keep up with orders. Available in 5/32", 3/16", and 1/4" thickness and several types of steel

I will be running a new batch of Ebot tools next month. If anyone wants one , PM me by Jan. 20th to be added to the list. These will all have neck/carry sheaths and will be $85.00+$5.00 shipping. Pry knives are low now so i will probably run some more of those too.
Thanks

I'd be all over these if I didn't already have a variety of them. There's a certain aspect of solidity to these tools that tends to be lacking in some of the fanicier varieties...not to say that these are too plain, and not to put down fancy collectible tools (I certainly collect them). Still, these do feel exceptionally solid. And I do like the hard black treatment over hard tool steel.
Etowah, have you considered adding knurled surfaces, or some other kind of surface effect to further improve the leverage one can get, especially on some of the smaller tools? Also, this might be overkill and add to much expense, but it might be interesting to add a pocket clip to a couple of examples of the non-edged tools. Atwood even did this once an awhile (I have at least one piece of his like that). If not a clip, perhaps a hole designed to enable keychain carry, or even to be hung from one of Munroe Design's "Danglers."
Just some new thoughts from your one of first customers on EDCF (I think?) RG

Will any of these upcoming ebots be with out the bottle opener (ala the first post pic)?

hey guys, I still cut every thing out by hand as I go so if you want one with no bottle opener or 3.5" or 3" models all that can be done upon request. The knurling and textures could be an option later on. I will work on some options and let you know what happens.
Thanks

James, I recently bought from you an EBot ... and I recently got one of your Small Pry Knives from Fenix Outfitters. Both are fantastic! So I just noticed this thread and I'm very interested in one of your Carry Size Pryz (from below). Do you have any available? If I had a choice of the cord options, I would like the 550 OD Green. Thanks for your time.

It's a surprise!
Actually it is none of the above. :-X
I will update as soon as I get a break and get some work done on it. I have made some jigs for the knife, made some parts to check the geometry but have not had time to put a proto together yet.

Oh man, I'm sure this isn't it but I have to guess: Bali-song?
If it is, I am all in.
It's not that easy to make one so I am going to also say that I am wrong. I can only wish though.
My family and I are the proud owners of 3 Etowah tools ... a Carry-Size Pryz Bar, an EBot, and a Pry Knife. And I tell ya something, these are all excellent, well-built tools. The reason I'm gushing about them is that bang-for-the-buckwise - they are truely inexpensive for the quality utility that they provide. That said, I can't wait to check out the prototype knife mentioned below. :)

I'll go ahead and post some info here. I will have some new products that will be released at the show. Some are small key chain size stuff and some are full size knives. There will be a new version of the Pry Knife with some new grinds (some one of a kind), an improved Spy Knife with traction thumb grooves for better grip, a shorter version of the Cheaptrick, a lot of one-off key chain knives, the new Sub-Cruiser line, and a lot of one-off hunting and survival style knives. All together, there will be about 90 items for sale. I have been working to much lately.lol
