I would be in however, it seems that the numbers are outnumbering me. :(. Guess, I am old fashion and like mags. Never had any problems w/them. If a different light is suggested I would be willing as well.

Nothing wrong with mags, I actually just recently got a keychain mag. But then my Fenix E0 came in and its definitely a better light. My own personal preference anyway. Everyone is different :)

I'm not too keen on the quality of the small incandescent Maglites. :thumbsdown: Failed me once too often when I was out in the field.

Then I met Fenix and never looked back. :laugh:

I would not mind if it were a LED, but I would never carry it, I carry my Fenix or others like it. I would love to buy a EDC Forums Fenix or even a Streamlight Stylus Pro.

I would not carry a mag light.

I would however edc a:
Nitecore d10 or d20 (which I currently do)
Fenix E01 (same as above)

I would buy an E01 for under $20, I just gave mine away to a friend wednesday. (He's a steward, and he found the Mag Solitaire was terrific for his job. He does not anymore lol)

I have been to busy to check into this part of the forum lately. I was typing up something to explain some of the problems with cash flow but I will make a brief statement here.

I have to be very very careful how I use any money the forum and store has right now. I could be wrong but I am afraid doing this could aggravate the problem. I don't think I can get any Fenix products and less likely to be able to get ones with logos. In the past it always seems if 25 people request something expect half of them to sell. On some products 80% of the items have to sell to break even, on some others 90% has to sell for break even. Almost everything tried ties up capital for too long then I have to find a creative way to make a server payment. There have been a couple of items that have turned a profit for the forum but the money tied up in things that didn't move makes it difficult to replace what actually sells. I do have to make some purchases of things that will actually move if the forum is to survive so I have to think very carefully as any thing used to buy inventory is coming from the money to pay for the server. The defense pens were a bust and I have not paid the invoice on that yet as well. When I get something put together I will make a post about the condition of the forum. I don't have any personal money that I can put into the forum anymore. The forum is owned by someone for all practical purposes is a homeless man. If try to do something like this I have to know that they will sell to a break even point at least.

Jon, I am FIRMLY in for 2 Maglites of any size with an EDCF logo on them. AA, AAA or Soli. I am NOT in for any size larger than 2xAA or any Fenix lights (I only buy and use American made lights and I feel supporting locals should be a priority in a project like this). There are a handful of serious MiniMag collectors on CPF and my guess is I can drum some additional interest up there if this project becomes a reality. Please PM me at your convenience if you wish. I'm not really into the Maglites, but if you were ever to get any more of those AAA or AA Huntlights I would buy a few of those for sure....
