New Feeler for Official EDCF T-Shirts

Just trying to gage the interest in EDCF T-Shirts.

I am not going to promise beyond a shadow of a doubt that it will happen but it could if there is enough interest.

I can't quote a price yet as I don't know how I would go about doing this yet.

If enough people express interest I will look into the ways of getting this done.

If this does happen I will most likely either only get 10 or 20 percent more than requested or will go with an inventoryless method.

On colors,

If enough interest is shown for this we can go through a similar process as was done with the patches. Right now no commitment is needed from any of you other than showing interest.

When it comes to actually placing the order a firm headcount will be requested but not until we figure out what the colors will be.

I'm interested, I'd vote for dark shirt colors (black? dark green? navy?) and no pocket (though I'd get a pocketed one anyway)...

Looking at the images earlier on the thread, it'd be neat if the Prybaby silhouette got updated to a G3 Prybaby (less iconic, but more visually interesting), and I'm guessing the flashlight is some well-known Surefire, but wonder if there's something that'd be more instantly recognizable to the public as being a flashlight (hmm, I'm no M*gLight fan, but they'd probably qualify as recognizable, but then, they'd probably sue :shocked:).

I am now to the point where I can start to try to do things to raise forum revenue.

T-Shirts are now ready to be seriously considered. If there is enough interest they will happen.

I will check with the local custom shirt company and find out what the cost is going to be quantity price breaks and different colors affect things. I am not sure if the first run can be more than one color or not. Will let you all know.

PROVIDING, of course, they come in SM/MED (finding clothing without at least one "X" in the size has been next to impossible for me lately)! Is it just me, or are sizes tending to run a bit large lately? :shrug:

Roughly 60% of my previous post is tongue-in-cheek; Jon sent me the three shirts I ordered out of the last run, and they fit fine, so I know he'll make sure those who want some get some that actually fit. :)

Maybe I should get a few that are slightly large, as an incentive to hit the gym more often... :-X

I found the box that had some leftovers from the original and only run of edcf shirts.

There are a total of 5 4 shirts. 3 2 are large and 2 are 3xL

I will put those up on the store.

If you are getting one of the old run of shirts it would be a good time to get a patch or mcgizmo clip too ;D

Since it is only a total of 5 shirts that exist now and in only 2 sizes I am not going to set them up to be displayed in the normal manner.
On the search field enter the word shirt and you will find them.

If you are getting one of the 5 shirts note that the credit card option has not been activated yet and only paypal works for now.

Hmmm, I just got in. There is for a second a white screen that lasts about half a second then it opens up.

I wonder if anyone else is having a problem. Someone did get in and order a patch earlier.

Not seconds at all?  I am afraid a new run won't happen so I am tempted to get one of the last. 

I am still hoping for a bright color in the new run if it can happen.

They are good shirts. They have just been in the box they came in for a long time. I looked at them and they are brand new and fine. Just wrinkled from moving being an almost empty box that moved from Indiana to Oklahoma.

I will find out if it costs any more to do more than one color in a run. If it turns out two colors are doable in this run I will change it to where everyone has 2 votes.

I may have miscounted but it looks like 27 requests have come in. What would be enough for me to order 30 of them. If I order 30 of a color the price will be $14.00 each for sizes S-XL. I didn't like was they told me that 2X will be an additional $2.00 and 3X will be an additional $3.00.

Since I would need to order 30 I will do if if we get 25 firm requests and will put the additional ones up as inventory. If we get 25 requests for a second color that will happen.

Basically I will do any color we can get 25 requests for. If there is a color you would like to see bug all your EDCF buddies to request that color.

The old shirts cost me less to do than it will cost now. There are still a couple of XXX in the store still at $12.00. That price looks like it will not be back with the newer order.

I guess to be fair I need to figure out what to do with the poll since we can do any color as long as we get 25 requests. When it is figured out how to do this I will start the official request list to see if we can get the 25 commitments I need.
