And a few items from the TSA friendly PSK we came up with.

You should be fine. I take a lot more than that in my carry on.

What to you take in your carry on then Carrot?

About a dozen flashlights and extra cells, an empty water bottle, entertainment (PSP, DS, iPod), Atwood Prybaby, paracord, a 5.11 belt (in my bag because it's metallic), my phone and my laptop. They have yet to bat an eye in the 6 times I've gone through airport security these past few years.

You should be fine. I flew over to Greece a few years ago with a dozen flashlights in my carry on. No one cared, except me because I had to carry the bag. I had my SAK Soldier and OHT in my checked luggage.
