Anyone going to SHOT (http://www.shotshow.com/App/homepage.cfm?moduleid=1968&appname=100300) this year?
For those of you who don't know, it's all about knives, guns, and gear. A perfect place for an EDCFer.
I booked my room at the Sahara a month or two ago and a lot of hotels were sold out then. Not sure what the availability is now, but you should be able to find something, even if it's not on the strip.
Looking forward to seeing some of you there!

I'd love to go but since it's not open to the general public I guess I'm out of luck.
Bummer seeing as how I live in the Las Vegas area :(
Enjoy the show!

I would kinda like to go too.
I was thinking about driving over from Dfw Texas.
(A) What does one need in order to get in?
(B) What is the physical address of the place?
(C) Time and dates of it?
I think I can swing the rest on my end. ;)
Thanks. :)

I don't think getting into the show is a huge problem. In the past I've gotten in by piggybacking with people with booths, and I've heard other people have had no problems simply by identifying themselves as "industry professionals". I daresay anyone on a board such as this qualifies :D
The show is from the 2nd-5th, and is at the Las Vegas Convention Center, who's address I don't know. It's just off the strip, next to the Hilton, and a stop on the Monorail.

I'll be there this year. Got a steal of a rate at the stratosphere. As far as getting in, should not be that difficult. I am getting in on Coast Guard credentials and a coworker is using his Type 03 FFL. If there is a chance lets get a gathering together.

I think I'm sharing a hotel with that Rothrandir guy. :nana: There's a goldmine of info on the sticky (http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=181719) here on CPF. I wangled a $20 badge from some San Diego gunshop through a friend with the title "consultant." :D

maxpedition, I'll be sure to stop by your booth first. I'll be there representing Wilderness Way, and you guys were one of the first on my radar.
Damn! I should just go by your place since I only live in Pasadena, CA

I was considering driving to Vegas (6hr drive) for this show. Is it not for the general public? What do you need to do (profession wise) to get in? I would hate to drive down and waste all that gas money!
