Just back from Amsterdam . Here are the basics that I took with on the trip. I do not check any luggage so I really have to cut down on my my EDC stuff. I shipped the knife over to the hotel along with some meds .
The security guys in Amsterdam took a long hard look at the Bugbite. I think that they were more curious about it then anything else.
What is on your short list when traveling?????

an M60 machine gun, and a barrett M-107 with sawn of barrel and an aimpoint as a sidearm.

no seriously, I've never traveled by plane, so i can carry whatever i want.

You are correct... It is a Mission wallet. I believe that I purchased it a few years ago from TAD. I use it when I am on vacation if I am concerned about pick pockets.

What is it about that wallet that makes it more immune to pickpockets? The slots for light/knife?

When I travel, I only take the bare essentials and I use the mission wallet in my front pocket instead of my regular wallet in my back pocket. My regular wallet is too big and too fat for front pocket carry.

What light did you take? It looks like a mini-mag. If it is, you need a better light! ;)

I don't recognize the knife either, although it seems nigglingly familiar.
