I just got the Jet Beam C-LE from Emilion.

Shipping took around 14 days to Socal.

Machining is excellent.

Type III Anodize is very good.

Twisting action is OK. No problems noted at this time. Both C-LE's goes through all levels with no problems.

Cleaned off threads noted very little grit or debris came off the threads.

Tint on both lights are very white.

I used the Duracell nimh Rechageable 2650mAh Batteries for the beam shots.

That looks like a great light. Do you have a Jetbeam MKII? If so, how does it compare?

I think that I may regret dropping out of a group buy for this one on CPF. I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks about this light. It looks like a nice one!

You can check this CPF thread. Look towards the end of the thread. Every once in a while I see somebody drop out of their place in the group buy, you might be able to get one.

Just received the C-LE that i purchased from Dealextreme.. Comparing to the photos above, it seems a bit... different. The top battery connector doesn't have JET BEAM printed on, and looks quite different, the lettering on the body looks... iffy. Plus distance between the knurling and front of the light is different. It also came without packaging.
Don't have an AA here to test it, so i have no idea if it works. The LED does look like a cree to my untrained eye though.

Edit: Picked up a bunch of lithium AA's and it's working nicely now.

You probably got an imitation, specially if there was no package.
If advertised as a JetBeam I would be asking many questions.

I just got a Jet Beam CL-E from Deal Extreme. This Jet Beam CL-E is for one of my co-workers.

I read in a thread that Emilion was saying these were the first generation Jet Beam CL-E's only sold in China.

Came shipped in this package.
