Frustrating! Picture posting problem...

I'm trying to post 4 pics in the 'What's Your EDC' thread along with text. ALL files are around 55 kb as I've resized them to small. I get an error message saying 'Files are too large. Maximum file limit is 192kb'.

How come? Even if that 192kb value is for all pics combined, it still won't let me post only 3 pics which would add up to less than that file limit stated.

The funny bit is - I can post 3 of the photos ok in the Practice Posting thread - not all 4. But when I try and post exactly the same 3 photos in the EDC thread with or without text I get that error message!

Please help!! I've got a headache... :rant:

Actually, the limit posted under additional options is 128 KB per post, four pics max; I'm not sure why it says 192, but you might try posting just two pics in the EDC post and make two posts, or use an image hosting site and post them all in one, which will allow you to put text around the pics. If you use the two-post option and still have trouble, let one of us know.

Use a public photo storage website like Imageshack (http://imageshack.us), if you upload your pictures there then use the first hotlink for forums and paste it in your post.
This saves bandwith consumption from EDCforums and lets you publish a thumbnail making your post better to read.

What made it worse was I had typed quite a bit, then after trying to post everything I got that error message, so I tried to go back and lost everything! Had to start from scratch! I usually copy and paste into Microsoft Word or something in case that happens, but forgot that time :doh:
