My kid has a basketball tournament in Kona between Christmas and New Years. I hate flying, but I do like Hawaii.

Anyway, flying-wise you're basically hosed. Almost empty pockets: Bandana, cell phone, car keys w/ Photon II, camera bag (yeah, I'm the semi-official team photographer) and a book. I dumped the camera bag today to make sure I hadn't stashed a spare SAK or set of screwdrivers in there.

In my checked luggage I'm going to get real risky and carry nothing (besides clothes and toiletries) but a SAK Super Tinker and an Inova X1. I may relent and add the Squirt P4. Maybe not. Heck, I may ditch the X1.

It'll be like the old days when I carried nothing but a SAK and a keychain flashlight. I may get to like it.

Yeah it's hard to minimize so much for airline travel. I just ordered up a Leatherman that has no knife so it's flight approved, this will somewhat help me. As of lately I have just had a nice light in my carry on and a Delica in my check in bag.
