'Upload Folder' is full...?

This is the error message I'm getting when I try to upload images. Surely it doesn't mean I have to delete past uploaded images does it?

I've just deleted an old uploaded image, then tried to post a new one but still getting the same message.

Just to let you know - I am resizing the images to 640x480.

I know that this is an old thread, but I am getting the same error message when trying to post photos. The images I am trying to upload are about 22kb. In addition, I have uploaded very few images over time so I don't think that I've used up an allotment, if that is how it works. What do I do?
