Anyone in NC/SC/VA interested in a get together? *I'm south of Raleigh, but I'm not afraid of driving anywhere within a couple of hours.

Have fun, kids! I had the pleasure of attending two consecutive milkeyspit Photon Fests in rural New Joisey a couple years past. (Coincided with business travel, so I lucked out!) I'm still trying to decide whether to cash some "miles" for the next SHOT Show in FL in January. Gtg's are a Blast!

I'll be in Virginia Beach on the morning of 23 December and leaving on the 1st (gasp!) of January back to OC.

There's been some murmuring among my clan about hooking up with more clan in Joisey on the 24th and then on to the Big Apple to see The Ball drop the following weekend, but no definite plans yet.

Personally I'd like to lay low and relax in our cabin in Currituck, NC, but I will likely get out-voted since more clan MAY be down from Toronto.

I should know more by 10 December.

My taste buds are aching for Chesapeake Bay crab cakes, my mom's cornbread, and home made ice cream from Bergey's Dairy. :trampoline:

I'm in Charlotte. It looks like the Triangle or Triad areas might be the best. I can't do this for a few weeks, but then it is a "definite possibility." :lolhammer:

Thanks, Karen, for pointing out this thread in a welcome message. We had IM'd about this, but with my "unread posts" option not working, I missed this one. When I logged in today after the software revision to the forum, the unread posts showed up again. I hope this keeps working, since I'm too lazy to backtrack when no unread posts show up each time I browse the forum.

Browsed over this Forum again today, and the "unread posts" option still works. Woo-hoo! I used it about every time I was on-line, and when it stopped working, I really missed it. Glad the software update went on (knock on wood) without any apparent hitch. This is rare!

I am going on Active Duty for the next 14 weeks, sounds good but unless it's after 21 May I won't be able to particpate. Even if its after the 21st it might be tough to come, but for a good reason. My wife and I are expecting our first child in late July. Can't blame me for not wanting to get to far from home.

South Augusta! I visit a good friend in Aiken each summer. I will go to his place after Blade this year. I plan to attend that June 8, Friday. I used to live in Columbia, SC-- lovely part of the country. We go back each summer. Being in Iowa this time of year makes me long for the hot weather. Anyone up for a Blade get together that Friday? We will head to Aiken Saturday morning.

I forgot about this thread until I clicked on Blades' sig line. I haven't been on the board much until very recently due to a new employer. I'm still interested in the Get together, but I won't be on that side on the county again until perhaps this Christmas-time.

well as you may know, jacksonville is a military town so im sure there are alot of edcers here they just either dont know there is such a following, or they dont know it has a name. (like i did, i thought i was crazy).
