I like those "Punisher" grips VERY much! Ive got another Buck/Strider SMBF thats just crying out for "a modding" & rather like the idea of sanding the grips smooth & putting some sort of GID or tritium-illuminated Punisher skull insert into the handle scales!

SO many project ideas, SO little time.

Nah, not yet. I'm afraid that if they say that they do, I might whip out the credit card and do something that I'll regret later. :) ;D  :P :-X

Those are really cool. I think the damacus ones are amazing and not as expensive as I thought they'd be. Cool site!

Beautiful, but give me Alumagrips anyday. Lightweight and comfortable. Made to order and cheap...

I like those grips that were made for the Chief Petty Officer. Might have to get me a pair made like that.

They certainly make fantastic looking grips. I'd be afraid to put most of those on a carry gun, and I can't really afford/justify stuff that's just for looks at this point in my life. But, man are those sweet.

I exchanged a few e-mails with this guy. Seems very polite and knowledgeable about grips. If I were in the market for a new set of wood grips, I'd probably go with a set of his smooth ironwood grips.

I like those Desert Ironwood ones a lot too. Thanks for the link for Alumagrips, I'll have to check it out.

Why can't you guys own Kimbers? You can't have 1911's there? Or does it relate to the safetys on them?

The only 1911 that I KNOW I CAN get here, is the S&W 1911 SC. (Which I want. I also want to send it to Yost to customize it etc.)

TKC, we can get quite a few 1911's here in MA. Just not new ones :idiot2:

There are several gun shops specializing in obtaining hard to find grandfathered handguns in MA. If you live anywhere near Sturbridge, email me and I'll give you the name of a great local guy in the Brookfields.

BTW, thanks for costing me huge $$ on new grips for my Colt Commander :)

Happy New Year!

Hmmm nobody makes cool stuff to trick out a Makarov. :P

Pretty grips. If I had a pretty pistol I'd like a set. But for now I'm content with my ugly pistol.
