Hi Guys/Girls,
I was about to update my "edc options" thread and want to use a lot of images in it. What I normally do is use imageshack and post thumbnails.
Can anyone tell me, is there a limit to the number of images allowed per post, before I do this?
I think it's either CPF or BF that does have a limit, so I though I would ask first.
Thanks,
Dan

If hosted off-site, I don't believe that there is a limit on pics in a single post. There is a character limit per post, but I don't recall that number.

Hi, Dan. *I don't think there is an official limit (see the great shoot-out pics of led beam shots! :)) if you are using a image-hosting site. *If you upload the pics and let EDCF host them, then it is four, with a max of 128 KB.
Hope I'm correct on this!

Dang it. Posted at the same time! Consider my answer redundant. ;D

I believe the max characters in a post is 20,000. Chief Yeah hit that in his Treasure Trove thread.
One thing Dan, if you have 2 or more thumbs I believe you have them show side by side by posting the code for them one after the other rather than one per line. It'll save some scrolling on your longer posts.

Hi Lunal_Tic,
Here is the reason I asked the question:
http://edcforums.com/index.php?topic=5208.0
I am, however unable to get the thumb images to be side by side.* Do you know of a way to do that?* I would be happy to update the post, if there is a way to do it.
I use that "imageshack" service.* They provide a thumbnail code that I simply cut and past into a post.* They don't explain or provide any way for posting images side by side.
Let me know and I'll be happy to make the changes.
Thanks,
Dan

Dan,
I went into your post and made the first thumbs side by side. All I did was put the pic codes one after the other with only a "space" between. When you are entering them you are hitting "enter" after each one so they are stacked rather than next to each other.

Ahhhh!
How cool is that! Thanks. I didn't think it would be so simple :)
Post has been updated.

Glad to help.* If you really got into an organization frenzy you could probably put your flashlight pix side by side then put "Pic 2" as a break between the detail posts.* Something like this:

You and I must have gone to the same school of "anal-rententology" :)
Thanks for that last idea, but for anal-asthetic reasons, I think I'll keep the flashlight images as is.
Much appreciated though!
Thanks,
Dan
