It was time to start giving some of my other automatics some wrist time, so for variety I just swapped out the black rubber band that came on my Oris BC3 with the stainless bracelet. How often do you all change the bands/bracelets on your watches? Are you fond of bracelets or do you prefer bands? I really like both the higher end stainless bracelets and the bands. I'm curious about the rest of you!

It depends upon the watch and what I use it foras to if I change bands often. I generally prefer bracelets on most every day watchs most of the time. However, sometimes it is fun to change bands occasionally for a different look or feel. I find that for hunting and outdoors use I like nylon or leather bands more than bracelets, they are "warmer". In summer in the sun, somtimes nylon or rubber feels cooler, depending upon the watch and bracelet.
When I do it is usually leather or rubber. HOWEVER any watch used near water in any form wears a Nato or similar one piece band, I lost a nice Citizen to the depths last year and learned that lesson.
Generally I find I switch my Seikos and Citizens back and forth more than I did higher end watches, and find I enjoy it more. I can honestly say I don't miss the higher end watches and their headaches at all.
Here are two favorite sets of changes:
