Hey all,

As some of you might be aware of from my other thread I've bought some ZULU straps.
I messured my previous watch strap on my current watch, and it was also 20mm so I thought it would fit perfectly. The only thing I didn't really think of, is that the ZULU straps are way more sturdy (is that the correct word?* ) than my current ones!

But I really need a new strap and I think I love the ZULU straps, I decided to buy a new watch.

There are 2 candidates for this and I need your help choosing which one (not for the looks but mainly for the price/quality etc)

The first one is this:

It's a Wenger (Swiss army) Brigade with glow-in-the dark hands and datum thingy. The inside of this watch is great though since it's a Swiss Quartz and Sapphire glass. This watch is 115euro's including shipping.

The other one is this (black one on the top right):

It's a Boccia outside watch. Great thing about this watch is that it's only 20euro's more expensive and the casing is Titanium! The glass is Sapphire and it's a Chronograph which is cooler than just time and date ;) The price of this one is 135euro's (discount from 200!).

The down part about the last one is that I don't know the inside, what kind of mechanism is in it etc and that I'm not sure of my ZULU will fit on this watch (it probably does and I can check that out). It might also be too big for my small wrists but that's not your concern ;)

The main question is; which watch is better and more reliable?

Thanks for reading!

Sorry I can't really contribute anything regarding the two watches that you posted. But I have a new watch, and I lurked at a few watch forums and at USN, and when it comes to quality and reliability, Seiko is the obvious winner and a close second was Citizen. Based on my research, I would go with one of these 2 brands. I went with Citizen because they have nice Titanium dive watches with Duratect.

I really like those watches too (the Citizen and Seiko) but most of the models are too big for my wrists and it's way above my budget...

These 2 watches are on top of my budget already (I'm only a poor 19year old student :lolhammer: )

The last one looks pretty interesting. Do you have any idea if there are fake Seiko's on the market and how it works with the warranty when bought on eBay?

Yes there are fake Seikos out there. Usually older types that people are looking to collect or refurb. When buying a watch on the internet you are buying the seller, not the watch. There are several legit sellers on all areas on the net. If you see a seller that only wants a MO or Western Union be sure of what you are buying.
