In a couple of your posts/replys that I've read , you mentioned a shooting you were involved in . Were you a LEO ? Why were you attacked ? Did you know your attackers ? Did you see it coming - how much time did you have to react ? What kind of gun/caliber did you have and how were you carrying it ? Were you hit ? Did you have any legal problems from " the shooting " ? Could you tell us the whole story ?

I'm gonna step in and say I have a feeling he might not want to share. At least most people that are involved in any type of shooting don't like to bring it back up. Very traumatic experience even if you're not hurt.

Yes, I think this would be best addressed via PM. I'm locking this to protect JSB's privacy, but he may (or may not) choose to share the story.

I will tell a bit about it.
I think it was 8 or 9 years ago. The location was at a mom and pop convience store that was owned by a friend that was franchised under the name of circle K. It was in Hancock County Indiana, the location was on highway US 40 in between the towns of Greenfield and Cumberland in a semi rural area.
The owner of the store's girlfriend was afraid that the store was going to be robbed while she was working there and wanted me to hangout there armed so I did. Not long after I showed up there was an attempted robbery and a shooting did occur. A 16 year old girl standing next to me in the last aisle of the store noticed I had a gun in my hand out of view and yelled out "no don't put your gun away I am scared announcing that I had a gun" With adreanlin high things happened. Shots were fired and one of them still has a bullet in them to this day.
One got 20 years, two got 10 years and the last one got 7 years in prison. The one that got 7 years is not out of jail, he spilled the beans about the crimes they had been involved in to the police. I think it was 36 robberies that they had been involved it.
